Field Marketing Manager

About the Role Highway 9 Marketing and Events is on the hunt for a Field Marketing Manager to help grow AWAKE Chocolate —an emerging CPG brand with big energy and even bigger ambition. This role is for a builder. Someone who loves being in the field, turning creative ideas into real-world moments, and helping brands go from “wait, what’s that?” to “I need another one.” If you thrive in startup environments, love experiential marketing, and get fired up by driving trial and sales—not just impressions,we want to hear from you. What you’ll do You’ll bring the AWAKE brand to life across Boston through smart, creative, and sales-driving field programs. You’ll own the local market, partner closely with sales, and execute experiences that make people stop, taste, smile, and buy. Build and execute strategic field marketing plans in partnership with the Program Director Turn brand strategy into memorable experiential moments—events, samplings, partnerships, pop-ups, and beyond Drive trial and support sales through targeted retail and community activations Align local programs with national campaigns, brand guidelines, and key partnerships Work closely with sales teams to support launches, promotions, and key accounts Manage all the details that make great experiences happen: staffing, logistics, assets, timelines, and budgets Be the face of the brand in the field—engaging consumers, partners, and retailers with confidence and energy Capture insights, track performance, and share what’s working (and what’s not) to help the brand grow smarter and faster Who you are A natural brand builder with experience growing startup or emerging CPG brands Equally creative and scrappy—you can dream it up and make it happen Comfortable wearing multiple hats in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments Sales-minded and results-driven, with a clear understanding of how field marketing supports velocity and growth Organized, proactive, and unfazed by last-minute changes (you probably thrive on them) High-energy, personable, and able to authentically embody the AWAKE brand Open to working nights and weekends when the field calls (because the best moments don’t always happen 9–5) This is a full time Seasonal position (May through October) with the possibility for extension. Compensation: The salary range for this position is $72,000 - $78,000 annually and is based on applicable experience.
