Project Engineer-Heavy Civil Construction

Project EngineerIOC Company a dynamic road and highway construction company is seeking a Project Engineer for our Rio Grande Valley Operation.The Project Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning, estimating, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. The ideal candidate will be required to coordinate all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications that include, but not limited to:On-Site Project ManagementProject Coordination & Project ControlsConstruction Billings, Cost tracking for sequential costing to include Job Cost AnalysisProject Schedule AdherenceDeveloping, managing & enforcing construction scheduleMaintaining records and logsCommunicating with vendors, subcontractors, and ownersCompleting RFQ and bid packagesDeveloping and following a two week look ahead scheduleParticipating in subcontractor and owner meetingsPreparation and delivery of close out and owner's manualsRequirements:· Must have a 4-year degree, or 5 years of related field experience preferred· Poses a valid driver's license· Have the ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a fast pace environment.· Able to work beyond normal business hours when needed to including weekends.· Poses superior communication and organizational development skills· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams.· Experience with: MS Office, Primavera Scheduling P6 and HCSS Heavy Job (preferred), triple business center, Trimble survey equipment, machine control, propeller - a PLUS· Bilingual (English / Spanish)Benefits As an industry leader, we strive to offer employees a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefit package which includes:Medical, Dental, Vision and/or which is effective 1st of the month following 60 days of hire date. 401KPaid Time OffAbout IOC Company LLC: We have a total dedication to safety, quality and productivity which has led to our company's success.
