The Role

The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and senior staff to develop construction plans, perform engineering calculations, and navigate the regulatory permitting process. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and ready to grow within our firm.

Responsibilities

• Gather project data.
• Prepare and assemble engineering reports and drawings.
• Perform hydraulic analysis, pump station designs, utility pipeline design, data collection and calibration of water and wastewater facilities.
• Perform routine engineering calculations.
• Assist with CAD drafting and design, and preparation of construction documents.
• Observe and attend meetings with clients or project stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) from an ABET-accredited university.
• Certification: Engineer Intern (EI) license is highly preferred, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
• Experience: 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Technical Skills: Experience with ICPR, BMPTrains, WaterCAD, and/or StormCAD is a significant plus.
• Communication: Effective written and oral communication skills for coordinating with team members and regulatory agencies.
• Drive: Highly motivated to progress on a professional licensure track (P.E.) with a desire to learn and improve daily.
• Organization: Ability to manage tasks across multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Software: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Southwest Florida area is a plus, but not required.
• Language: English
• Location: Bonita Springs, FL.

Compensation and Benefits

• Compensation: $70,000 to $85,000 depending on experience and licensure
