Responsibilities As a Resident Aide, you will be a critical member of our care team, working in our Memory Care or Skilled Nursing Unit. You’ll provide daily hands‑on support and compassionate care to residents, promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities include: Assisting residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility/ambulation) Answering resident call lights promptly and courteously Promoting resident dignity, individuality, and rights while encouraging independence Participating in shift reports and maintaining up-to‑date resident records Supporting meal service by managing menu choice tickets and helping serve meals Laundering personal items for residents Assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges as directed Following infection control and safety procedures diligently Collaborating with nursing staff and contributing to a calm, respectful, and team-oriented work environment Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in a continuing care retirement community or hospital setting preferred Strong background in customer service and interpersonal communication Ability to pass a pre‑employment background check Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen Life Enriching Communities is an equal opportunity employer committed to workplace diversity and compliance with the applicable provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
