This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, supporting attorneys, and ensuring billing is completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with client expectations. About the Role The Billing Specialist will handle a high volume of monthly billing, collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff, and ensure invoices meet client guidelines. This position requires strong attention to detail, comfort navigating billing systems, and the ability to communicate professionally across departments. Key Responsibilities Prepare, review, and finalize prebills and monthly invoices Interpret attorney billing preferences and client requirements Submit electronic invoices through various eBilling platforms Maintain accurate billing instructions and matter details in the system Research and resolve billing discrepancies or rejected eBills Provide billing history, time-entry details, and other financial information as needed Coordinate with attorneys, legal assistants, and internal teams to support revenue operations Assist with expert, vendor, and matter-related billing documentation Uphold confidentiality and accuracy in all billing activities Participate in ongoing training to stay current with billing tools and processes What You Bring 2+ years of billing or accounting experience (legal or professional services preferred) Familiarity with LEDES formats and eBilling platforms is a plus Strong numerical skills and exceptional attention to detail Ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Professional communication skills and comfort initiating follow‑up with attorneys Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a well‑structured accounting team with strong leadership Exposure to complex billing processes and high‑profile clients Opportunities for professional development and long‑term growth Compensation $62-78k Please apply today to be considered! #J-18808-Ljbffr RIM Recruitment Professionals
