Maintenance TechnicianLaunch your career in maintenance and engineering at JLL!The Maintenance Technician supports operation, inspection, and light maintenance processes to mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities. This is an entry-level position and can provide opportunities for growth in the engineering field.You will work as part of an engineering team of 4 at a 471,000 square foot Class A Medical office building in Fredericksburg, VA.Schedule: 10am-6pm Monday through Friday + rotating on-call (1 week on call every 4 weeks)What your day-to-day will look like:Assist the engineering team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipmentPerform general maintenance including carpentry, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and/or paintingComplete assigned work orders in CMMS and maintains appropriate service documentationMaintain tools, parts, equipment and supplies in clean and safe conditionsWork closely under the direction of Operating Engineers, Chief Engineers and othersParticipate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsSupport on-call or emergency response situations (if applicable)Other projects and tasks to be assignedOn-site presence requiredComplete job description available on JLL's internal portalRequired qualifications:1-2 years of related work experience, especially in repair, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentryTrade school, union training, military service or college is desirableAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfort using ladders up to 30 feet tallAbility to frequently climb, bend, kneeling, lift and/or driveStrong customer service skillsThis position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Estimated compensation for this position:53,000.00 – 60,000.00 USD per yearThis range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ.
