As a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic/Technician at MAPEI, you'll be an essential part of our commitment to operational excellence and safety. Our Maintenance Team ensures equipment reliability through routine maintenance and brings expertise in troubleshooting and resolving complex machinery issues. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vital production equipment, including industrial blenders, mixers, packaging systems (both automated and manual), robotic machinery, pumps, valves, and pressure vessels. Your skills will be key in upholding MAPEI's high manufacturing standards and supporting a seamless production environment.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with supervisors and management to perform repairs and preventive maintenance, minimizing equipment downtime.Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control systems, including machinery, instruments, power systems, and piping.Complete thorough repairs and proactively initiate work orders based on preventive maintenance (PM) or predictive maintenance (PdM) findings.Maximize equipment reliability by efficiently executing work orders and PM tasks.Accurately document activities, resources, and completion codes.Analyze reports to recommend improvements for asset operability, reliability, and safety.Request necessary repair parts as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.Conduct maintenance in compliance with OSHA, Process Safety Management (PSM) guidelines, and environmental regulations.Track and meet maintenance KPIs to achieve performance goals.Perform diverse technical tasks, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repairs.Continuously develop skills through self-improvement initiatives.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, adhering to all safety and quality standardsAdhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace.Perform additional duties as requiredPosition Specific Details:Base hourly payrate up to $25.00-$34.00 p/hr, based on experience.Additional premium shift differential: $1.00 p/hr for 2nd shift and $2.00 p/hr for 3rd shift, if applicable.What's in it for you:Highly competitive base pay & premium shift differentials.Biannual "Rewards for Results" bonuses, awarded on discretion based on plant performance.FREE MEDICAL INSURANCE for our employees or the option of a highly competitive medical plan with minimal monthly employee contributions.17 Days of paid, sick and vacation time annually (days are prorated in year one).401K retirement with up to 6% matching program.Excellent dental, vision programs, flex spending accounts, employer paid life insurance and free tele-med physician services.Various other company employee-centric perks initiatives; tuition reimbursement programs, discounted home/auto insurance programs, supplemental life insurance, and more.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED equivalent1-2 years' maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentFamiliar with NEC and NFPA 70E standardsSkilled in installing new equipment and modifying existing installationsProficient in Statistical Process Control (SPC): Control charts, standard deviation, CpkMechanical Skills: Read pneumatic schematics, troubleshoot pneumatic systems, manage V-belts, valves, motors, drives, and electrical enclosuresElectrical Skills: Read electrical/control schematics, understand PLC hardware and Ladder Logic programming, electrical troubleshooting, and safety complianceComputer literate with strong communication skillsEqual Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran (M/F/D/V)
