Responsibilities

• Input wires as requested from appropriate Bank personnel.
• Verify and release the outgoing wires.
• Balance daily wire activity.
• Answer all branch wire-transfer related questions and external inquiries.
• Assist with various clerical functions as needed in the Accounting Department.

• Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education: 

• A.A.S. degree in Accounting, Business or Finance, or equivalent Accounting/Wire Room experience preferred.

Skills: 

• Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
• Strong computer skills, including Word, Excel, and database management
• Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills.

Experience: 

• Minimum of two (2) years in the Accounting Department of an organization or Banking or wire transfer experience.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
