Phlebotomist

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience. Preferred: 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab environment. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency if lacking work experience. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work overtime as needed. Ability to pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Additional Job Standards Work may include a 7‑on / 7‑off schedule; benefits may vary accordingly. Eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan based on performance metrics.
