Certified Nursing Assistant A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential support to patients and healthcare staff, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring patient comfort and safety. Key Responsibilities Patient Care : Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Vital Signs Monitoring : Measure and record patients' vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, and report any changes to nursing staff. Mobility Assistance : Help patients with mobility, including transferring them between beds, wheelchairs, and other locations. Feeding Support : Deliver meals and assist patients with eating, ensuring dietary needs are met. Emotional Support : Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and their families, fostering a caring environment. Infection Control : Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness in patient areas. Collaboration : Work closely with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care and assist with additional tasks as assigned by supervising nurses. Qualifications Certification : Must be a certified nursing assistant, having completed a state-approved training program and passed the certification exam. Skills : Strong communication and interpersonal skills, compassion, and a genuine desire to help others. Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving patients, and standing for extended periods.
