This contract opportunity focuses on delivering quality speech-language services in a vibrant educational setting and allows you to make a meaningful impact during an important phase for students. You’ll be managing a caseload of approximately 45-50, covering an FMLA leave, and will find yourself surrounded by dedicated educators and enthusiastic learners.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois SLP license and PEL required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
• Previous experience working with pediatric and high school populations preferred
• Familiarity with school-based service delivery models
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech-language services to high school students in alignment with their IEPs
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and write effective, measurable goals
• Monitor progress, document session data, and complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educational teams
• Offer guidance and resources to families and educators on communication strategies
• Support students in developing their communication skills to access the curriculum and participate fully in school life
