Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, covering physical assessments and thorough medical history reviews.
• Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab findings.
• Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to construct and implement individualized surgical treatment plans.
• Provide support in the operating room, preparing surgical spaces, positioning patients, and passing instruments during procedures.
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, managing medication, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education.

Educational Background

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program.
• Experience in clinical rotations focused on surgery is preferred.

Certifications Required

• Active and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are necessary.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant is required.

Desirable Skills

• Strong understanding of surgical principles along with sterile technique.
• Proven capability in interpreting diagnostic tests and aiding complex clinical decisions.
