As a Zero Trust Enterprise Architect, you will play a key role in ensuring that enterprise and mission systems are resilient, scalable, and aligned with evolving operational and security needs. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise, strategic planning, and hands-on implementation to design and maintain secure network architectures across complex environments.You will collaborate with subject matter experts, customers, vendors, and end users to understand strategic objectives and operational requirements, translating them into robust network and security solutions. Leveraging your expertise, you will support the full lifecycle of network systems, including planning, acquisition, design, installation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software components. The world can’t wait.You Have: 8+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity within DoD or federal environments3+ years of experience designing, deploying, and supporting network and security architectures, including Zero Trust implementationExperience architecting and implementing Zero Trust solutions aligned with DoD Zero Trust strategy and target-level frameworksExperience documenting complex architectures, supporting defense programs, and delivering secure, scalable solutionsExperience in Identity and Access Management, micro segmentation, endpoint security, and secure network or cloud architectureExperience working within classified environmentsKnowledge of DoD security standards, RMF or ATO processes, and compliance frameworksTS/SCI clearanceHS diploma or GEDNice If You Have: Experience supporting and operating DoD networks in mission or tactical environments, including INDOPACOM or Pacific-based operationsExperience transitioning legacy perimeter-based architectures to Zero Trust modelsExperience with multivendor network and security platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper, Dell, HPE, and VMwareExperience with commercial and DoD cloud environments and cloud security architectureExperience applying STIGs and performing system hardeningExperience with Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)Knowledge of automation, orchestration, and policy-as-code security enforcementCISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP, or CCNA CertificationsClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.  CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
