Quality Control Technician

Job Details:

A successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail and be able to read and interpret blueprints. Must have the ability to accurately read measurements and work with precise quantities down to the milliliter (mL). Candidates should be comfortable following detailed specifications and ensuring accuracy in all aspects of their work.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Reading blueprints/technical drawings and & welding symbols
• Analyzes data and writes summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards.
• Recommend modifications to existing, or suggest new standards, methods and procedures. 
• Inspection of the materials produced or purchased.
• Using tools such as micrometers and other calibrated tools to measure products.
• Removing products that do not meet specifications.
• Acceptance or rejection of finished products.
• Performs inspections to assess product quality.
• Scans/Uploads documents accordingly.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of calibrated test tools and equipment.
• Ability to read rulers on 1/8th, 1/16th, 1/32nd, and 1/64th scales.
• Proficiency with metric and standard measurement tools.
• Ability to use micrometers, verniers, and calipers.
• Strong record-keeping and computer skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• 2-3 years of relevant experience required.
