Job Title

Overview of Responsibilities -

Responsibility to ensure the smooth "front of house" operation in food and beverage. Promotes a sophisticated and upscale dining experience for customers by creating a polished and accommodating first impression. Adheres to all Company service and operating standards. Must be R.A.M.P certified.

Essential Job Duties -

• Ensure the room is clean and tidy, ready for opening. Perform all pre and post meal set-up and close down work.
• Ensure the phone is answered within three rings, makes reservations and provides service and assistance to customers at the entrance. All customers warmly greeted with eye contact.
• Facilitates the flow of the restaurant with customer seating assignments, special requests, special occasions, station assignments, employee breaks, etc. Monitors table to ensure correctly set with all utensils, cutlery, glassware, condiments, etc. in place.
• Possesses thorough knowledge of menu and daily special items and recommends food and wine selections to customers. Presents menu from the left side after guest has been seated.
• Ensure all POS procedures are followed correctly and ensure "open table" reservation policy is followed. Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of all Company events and promotions and ensure Servers and Bus Persons are briefed accordingly.
• Ensure all Alcohol Awareness policies are observed by servers. Be aware of all "Dram Shop" ramifications. Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicits involvement and support from supervisor.
• When necessary assists servers in servicing tables. Regularly walk the restaurant floor and ensure total customer satisfaction. Ensure it is clean and tidy at all times.
• Be aware of the player card status of all guests and deal with according to Company policies. Manage all "comp" situations in conjunction with servers.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications -

1. High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
2. Must be RAMP certified.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational and planning skills, and strong communication skills. Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
4. Must be able to stand and walk for a full 8 hour shift.
5. Must be able to work all shifts and weekends/holidays as required.
6. Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and through written communications.
