Position: Concession Stand Coordinator High School Athletics

Description:

North Lawrence Community Schools is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to oversee concession stand operations at Bedford North Lawrence High School athletic events. The Concession Stand Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of concessions, including setup, sales, inventory, cash handling, and clean-up, while ensuring a positive experience for students, families, and community members.

Responsibilities Include:

• Organizing and supervising concession operations for designated athletic events.
• Managing inventory, restocking, and securing supplies.
• Supervising student and/or adult volunteers assisting with concessions.
• Ensuring accurate cash handling and completing required financial documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
• Coordinating with the Athletic Director regarding schedules, needs, and event coverage.

Reports To:

Michael Babin, Athletic Director, Bedford North Lawrence High School

Requirements:

• Must meet all NLCS hiring and background check requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends during athletic seasons.
• Prior experience in customer service, concessions, or event supervision preferred but not required.

Stipend:

Per NLCS Extracurricular Salary Schedule.

Contract Length:

Seasonal assignment per the ECA schedule; annual appointment contingent upon board approval.
