If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner's team in Great Falls, MT.

As a Progressive Care Nurse, you will provide comprehensive care to patients who are hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable. You will engage with a diverse patient population, including those with conditions such as CHF, COPD, DKA, and more. Your role will involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care delivery and achieving desired outcomes.

• Provide care to patients with central lines, chest tubes, and those requiring short-term ventilation support
• Operate advanced medical equipment and manage multiple IVs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care
• Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision
• Act as a clinical leader and assist with precepting staff
• Direct care for patients from admission to discharge, including discharge planning
• Give directions to RN, LPN, CNA, Housekeeping, and Dietary Staff
• Receive directions from Providers, Charge Nurse, and Chief Nursing Officer

Requirements:

• Current State of Montana RN Licensure
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification required or obtained within 6 months of hire
• EPNC, TNCC certification preferred
• Need 1 year experience in setting
• Ability to manage common IV medications such as Heparin, Diltiazem, and more
• Experience in post-heart catheterization preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
