Production Control, Supervisor: 4th Shift

Job Overview Production Control Supervisor – 4th shift at Raytheon’s Mission Components value stream in Andover, MA. Responsible for material and workforce planning, execution planning, and daily supervision of production floor activities to meet critical customer deadlines. Responsibilities Manage a high visibility, high mix area—oversee material availability analysis, tracking, and reporting. Manage kit readiness by collaborating with BOM, Material Master, Process Engineering, Operations, and Document Control teams. Provide production floor support: replacement part management, shop floor material staging, WIP movement through shared resources, completion of units, MRP system updates, and delivery to next step. Coordinate with program, planning, production control, operations, quality, and engineering teams to maintain organizational goals and objectives. Develop and maintain execution plans to meet customer deadlines, supply chain strategies, and financial targets. Lead daily team operations and supervise material handlers on the 4th shift (06:00–18:00 Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 04:00–08:00 Thursday bi‑weekly). Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience; minimum 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing/supply chain. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and material/inventory control systems such as Kanban, SMI, or Continuous Flow Manufacturing. Leadership experience supervising daily operations. Strong communication skills, ability to interface with all levels and external customers. Experience with Six Sigma methodology (CORE) and/or lean manufacturing, diagnostic, process optimization. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Security Clearance U.S. citizenship required. Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Confidential security clearance is required. Salary and Benefits Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 per year.
