Monday-Friday
7:00 am to 3:30 pm
$25 to $26

We are seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician / Mechanic with developing to intermediate technical skills to support the installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of production machinery and facility equipment. This role also assists with general building maintenance and identifies practical opportunities to improve production processes, equipment reliability, and workplace safety.

Job Duties for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Install, assemble, adjust, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Perform basic welding, cutting, and metal-fabrication work to repair equipment, supports, guards, carts, and facility components.
Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting (motors, switches, sensors, controls)
Execute scheduled PMs and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic issues to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
Assist with equipment moves, line changes, machine upgrades, and new machinery installations.
Perform general facility maintenance (minor lighting, plumbing, door, HVAC component, wall, and floor repairs) and respond to breakdown requests in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate work orders and parts usage logs while recommending continuous improvements to reduce downtime and improve safety.

Requirements for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

High school diploma or GED required; technical school training or relevant certifications pre
2+ years of maintenance, manufacturing, industrial, experience.
Knowledge of mechanical systems and troubleshooting practices.
Basic welding and metal-fabrication skills, including safe operation of welding and cutting equipment.
Understanding of electrical troubleshooting (multimeter usage, low-voltage controls, motors, switches); PLC familiarity is a plus.
Ability to read basic equipment manuals, schematics/diagrams, and work instructions with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
