\n This role works in both indoor and outdoor environments and includes a mix of hands-on labor, material sorting, and equipment operation. Forklift use is part of the job but not the majority of the shift, typically accounting for about 20–40% of daily responsibilities. You will also be actively involved in sorting, moving, and processing materials alongside a team in a fast-paced industrial environment.\n

\n Scrap Yard Warehouse Associate Duties: \n

\n
\n

\n
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely while moving and organizing materials throughout the yard and facility.
\n
• Sort, identify, weigh, and process incoming metal materials. Perform equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks. Assist with lifting, moving, and handling materials up to 50 lbs. Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
\n

\n Schedule: \n

• Day shift
\n
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
\n

\n Pay: $23.97\n

\n Scrap Yard Warehouse Associate Requirements: \n

\n
• At least 2 years of warehouse or industrial experience.
\n
• At least 2 years of forklift operating experience.
\n
• Must be bilingual in Spanish
\n
• Previous forklift certification card from an employer (expired okay).
\n
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a loud, dusty, industrial environment.
\n
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor throughout the shift.
\n
