TRASH TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

Overview We are hiring immediately for full time and part time TRASH TECHNICIAN positions. Location: Johnson C Smith University - 100 Beattie's Ford Road, Charlotte, NC 28216. (Openings at other locations within school district available). Note: online applications accepted only. Responsibilities Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures. Perform cleaning functions as assigned; operate cleaning equipment as designated. Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must have the physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds. Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English. Job Summary Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols. Details Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; days may vary, 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs) Requirement: Prior trash technician experience is required. Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.
