1st shift 6am-2pm $17.50/hr
2nd shift 2pm-10pm $18.50/hr
Job Description
Join a production assembly team that manufactures blades by installing grommets and rivets and supporting a smooth, high-quality assembly line process. This role involves hands-on work in a clean, organized manufacturing environment, using basic power tools, measuring tools, and visual inspection to ensure products meet quality standards.
Essential Skills

• Previous experience in assembly, production, or general manufacturing environments.
• Ability to use basic measuring tools accurately to check parts and assemblies.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on identifying and preventing quality defects.
• Ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 4050 lbs as part of routine job duties.
• Effective critical thinking skills to follow procedures and respond to issues on the line.
• Proven ability to work as a reliable team player in a structured production setting.
• Comfort using basic power tools in a safe and controlled manner.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on an assembly line or in a high-volume production environment.
• Familiarity with operating within a defined team rhythm or takt time in manufacturing.
• Experience in environments with furnaces or ovens, or comfort working in areas that can become hot at times.
• Willingness to learn new processes and cross-train in other production tasks or departments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rock Island, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
