Job Title Associate, Trade Desk Company Cboe Global Markets is a leading provider of market infrastructure and tradable products, delivering cutting‑edge trading, clearing and investment solutions to global market participants. Location Overland Park Xchange (OPx), Overland Park, Kansas—a modern office space with convenient access to the Kansas City metropolitan area. Role Overview Entry‑level Associate, Trade Desk supports day‑to‑day operational oversight of Cboe exchange trading platforms (including BYX, BZX, C1, C2, CFE, EDGA, EDGX) across asset classes such as equities, options, futures and foreign currencies. The role reports to the Trade Desk Manager and focuses on platform monitoring, customer support, data analysis, documentation and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily system checks, audit log reviews and verification of platform changes. Monitor production, disaster recovery and test environments; promptly report anomalies. Support live system updates and communication to customers and internal teams. Provide first‑level customer support for platform behavior, order processing and feature inquiries. Assist with order cancel requests, clearing support and client onboarding under supervision. Help monitor auctions/rotations and assist with block trade and ECRP support. Use SQL and UNIX shell tools to query databases, examine log files and support basic reporting. Document findings and prepare reports for customers and business teams. Update internal technical procedures and operational documentation in Confluence. Participate in weekend industry testing as needed. Develop knowledge of platform APIs, market data, order entry and operational workflows. Build relationships across Operations, Technology and Business teams. Perform other related duties as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Financial Services, Communications or related field. 0–2 years of professional experience; internships or coursework in related areas considered a plus. FINRA Security Industry Essentials Examination (SIE) and Series 57 licenses, or ability to obtain within 8 months of hire. Basic familiarity with SQL or UNIX shell environments. Strong eagerness to learn financial market concepts, trading systems and support workflows. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to follow documented procedures accurately and with attention to detail. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.
