Job Title: Contingent Clinical Care LVN/LPN - MC Duration: 6+ Months Contract (Potential for extension) Pay Rate: $38.00/HR on W2 Shifts - Clinical hours Job Location- 23530 Wilderness Oak, San Antonio, TX 78258 Will accept FT or PT candidates. All must float within 40-mile radius of Overland Park, KS. Part Time Schedule: 2 x 10 hours shifts during the week only, no weekends Full Time Schedule: 4 x 9.5 hours shifts during the week + every 4th weekend.

• What experience do you have in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room settings?
• What experience do you have using Epic EMR or similar Electronic Medical Record systems?
• Are you available to work the required schedule?
• Work schedules will be created in 6-week blocks following the 3 weeks of training/orientation.
• Depending on the needs of the clinic, you can expect a shift to be between 7-10 hours during clinic operating hours.
• A typical work week will be two or three weekdays and every other weekend.
• This position also requires working on some major holidays.
• Do you understand that this is a temporary/contract position, and whereas conversion to a permanent CVS employee is a possibility, it is not guaranteed?

Max Commute Time and Transportation: Commute times must be reasonable and sustainable. In general, managers will not consider candidates with commutes exceeding 30 minutes. Before submitting a candidate, please confirm they have reliable transportation. If public transit is involved, ensure the route has been thoroughly reviewed and is feasible for daily travel.

BLS Certification: LPN/LVNs must have BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Job Responsibilities of an Onsite MinuteClinic LPN/LVNs: The LVN/LPN will perform patient registration and intake tasks, will assist with wait room management and other tasks to enhance the patient experience. Clinical responsibilities to include phlebotomy and specimen collection services, vaccine injection, patient assessment activities during intake such as vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy. Candidates must have previous experience with immunizations/injections.

Required Qualifications Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room. Previous experience administering immunizations and injections and providing evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education. Minimum of one-year related work experience in a healthcare setting. Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record, preferably EPIC Ability to take vital signs Training: The LPN/LVN will complete three weeks of paid orientation and training beginning on the start date. Training includes a combination of web-based modules, skill validations, EPIC system instruction, and preceptor-led activities. Subsequent weeks consist of onsite, side-by-side training with Clinical Staff colleagues.
