Responsibilities

Guest Interaction & Service Lane Support

• Maintain a professional personal appearance at all times
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and efficient demeanor
• Greet guests cheerfully and promptly upon arrival
• Listen to guest needs and direct them to the appropriate Service Advisor or Service Manager
• Assist guests in locating their scheduled Service Advisor
• Provide accurate vehicle status updates as directed by Service Advisors or Service Managers

Vehicle Intake & Key Control

• Perform the following tasks when guest vehicles arrive:
• Install paper floor mats and plastic seat covers
• Place a hat tag on the rear-view mirror
• Attach a key tag to the guest’s key ring
• Park vehicles in designated areas and note the location on the key tag
• Secure keys in designated key control locations
• Ensure Service Advisor initials are present on all hat tags and key tags
• Lock doors and close windows after parking vehicles
• Request Service Manager assistance when parking motorhomes or oversized vehicles

Vehicle Movement, Inspection & Delivery

• Drive vehicles to and from the Service Drive, service stalls, and parking areas as needed
• Retrieve repaired vehicles and deliver them to the Service Lane or directly to guests
• Visually inspect vehicles prior to delivery to ensure:
• No warning or dash lights are illuminated
• Dashboard, steering wheel, and seats are clean
• Confirm with the Service Advisor whether a vehicle should be washed prior to delivery
• Drive qualified vehicles through the car wash as directed
• Remove and reinstall antennas
• Dry vehicles and remove all paper floor mats and plastic seat covers

Shuttle & Errand Support

• Provide guest shuttle service as needed, secondary to designated shuttle drivers
• Run errands as requested to support service department operations

Facility, Cleanliness & Guest Lounge Support

• Perform all daily, weekly, and monthly checklist tasks
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Service Drive and offices
• Includes removal of dirt, debris, cobwebs, cleaning glass, baseboards, walls, fans, and floors
• Keep the Service Drive free from standing water
• Dispose of trash, paper, plastic, and debris from parking lots and exterior areas
• Perform janitorial duties as needed
• Monitor and maintain the Guest Lounge and restrooms during business hours
• Change and label coffee times
• Check hourly
• Stock supplies as needed
• Ensure availability of fresh regular and decaffeinated coffee
• Monitor and empty garbage cans throughout the day
• Dispose of empty boxes in office areas at the end of each day
• Spray and squeegee all Service Lanes at the end of the day

Required Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to follow procedures and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles (preferred)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles throughout the workday

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior dealership, valet, or customer service experience
• Familiarity with service drive operations
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
