Finance Bankruptcy amp Restructuring Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group in Irvine, CA. The successful candidate will support the Financial Services Team in various finance transactions and provide practical, solution-oriented support throughout the transaction lifecycle. Duties Support a wide range of equipment finance transactions, including drafting and reviewing loan documents and leases. Assist with local counsel opinions and ensure accuracy across opinion packages. Conduct due diligence, including reviewing organizational documents and closing checklists. Manage and track transaction details to ensure timely and accurate closings. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members. Take initiative to anticipate deal needs throughout the transaction lifecycle. Requirements 3-6 years of relevant experience in equipment finance, asset-based lending, or commercial finance. Strong drafting skills and experience handling multiple matters simultaneously. Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working with a high level of autonomy. Admitted to practice, or eligible for admission, in the jurisdiction corresponding to the office location. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction. Skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
