This Respiratory Therapist opportunity is part time and offers full benefits and a convenient day shift schedule. Under the supervision of the Critical Care Director, Medical Director and Respiratory Department Supervisor, the respiratory therapist is responsible for providing respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures.

Job duties/responsibilities include maintaining knowledge of the various methods of oxygen delivery, administering respiratory therapy treatments, setting up and monitoring mechanical ventilators, performing arterial punctures to obtain arterial blood samples for blood gas analysis, and understanding the possible complications and contraindications associated with the procedure.

Qualifications include current state respiratory therapist licensure or eligibility, graduation from an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy, BLS and ACLS certification, and PALS certification within 90 days.
