About The Unit 23-bed Ortho Unit specializes in treating the musculoskeletal system Includes joint replacement, orthopedic trauma, back and spine surgery, orthopedic oncology, foot and ankle surgery, hand and upper extremity surgery and sports medicine Staff on this unit have the opportunity to help patients restore mobility and strength that they did not have before Position: 36 hours per week Shift: Midnights 12 Hour Shifts Every other weekend and Holiday Rotations Benefits: Full time benefit package INTERNAL CANDIDATES MUST APPLY WITH INTERNAL PROFILE Education/Experience Required Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Certifications/Licensures Required Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
