Senspex in is seeking to hire a Technical Sales Representative for our Operations Department located in Rio Rancho, NM.

The Technical Sales Representative develops and implements sales strategies towards improvement of product line penetration with long and short-term profitability.

This role is responsible for building strong customer relationships and tailoring solutions for their unique program needs. The role manages proof-of-concept projects, contributes to technical documentation, and simplifies technical information for customers. The role analyzes market competition, gathers customer feedback, and shares insights with the product development team for improvement in market position. A successful candidate will be a detail orientated, self-starter that can successfully manage their own workload with minimal supervision and have the ability to work in a team environment.

Drive Strategic Growth: Own targeted sales accounts and spearhead strategies to capture new business, pitch executive leadership on market expansion, and turn leads into key partnerships.

Deliver Live Product Demos: Represent Senspex front and center, delivering dynamic product demonstrations, hosting client presentations, and showcasing innovations at national trade shows.

Build Lasting Partnerships: Act as a trusted technical advisor to defense, government, and industry leaders, providing high-touch presale and post-sale support to turn clients into lifelong advocates.

The qualifications we require:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related technical field, or equivalent industry experience
• Must be knowledgeable about technology, and in particular, the ability to obtain expert level knowledge on Senspex products
• 3–5 years of progressively responsible experience in application engineering, technical sales, or engineered equipment solutions within a government sales environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong sales skills that promote product and services the company offers and the ability to showcase technical products, both software or hardware
• Experience in government or military acquisition processes
• Ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to users

• Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States
• Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test
• Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act
• May require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance in order to work on projects/programs.
