Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In this role, you'll also serve as a trusted leader capable of stepping in for the Plant Manager when needed.What You'll DoTake ownership of manufacturing operations—overseeing production, product quality, and raw material management for a high-output, 24-hour production lineLead and inspire a team of over 100 employees, creating a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvementDrive operational performance by aligning resources, schedules, and priorities to meet production goalsPartner with leadership to develop budgets, control costs, and manage performance metrics that impact the bottom lineOptimize processes by leveraging data—monitoring key indicators like downtime, material usage, and production costs to fuel smarter decisionsEnsure all production activities meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and product quality expectationsChampion safety as a core value—actively working to achieve zero incidents and creating a culture where safety comes firstIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational and personnel challenges—leading root cause analysis and implementing sustainable solutionsPlan and schedule work to maximize equipment utilization and maintain peak productivityStep into plant-wide leadership responsibilities when needed, including supporting or serving as acting Plant ManagerContribute to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the operationTake on additional responsibilities as needed to support plant successWhat You BringBachelor's degree in management, engineering, or a related field with at least 5 years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (or equivalent experience)Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teamsA problem-solver mindset with proven success diagnosing and resolving process issuesExcellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skillsDemonstrated ability to partner effectively with plant leadership and cross-functional teamsA track record of leading change and driving continuous improvement initiativesWorking knowledge of SAP or ERP systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team-oriented environmentExperience managing a workforce of approximately 115 hourly and 8 salaried employees, including performance management, compensation decisions, hiring, and terminationsWork Environment & Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds as neededMinimal travel (0–10 days per year)Work in a dynamic manufacturing setting with exposure to:Heat, cold, and high noise levelsMoving mechanical equipmentHeights and physically active conditions (walking, climbing, etc.)Dust, mist, gas, or fumesYou must be able to perform the essential functions of this role, with reasonable accommodations available where applicable.Why This Role Stands OutMake a real impact on safety, performance, and team developmentLead at scale in a high-visibility manufacturing environmentGrow your career alongside strong plant leadershipBe part of a culture that values innovation, accountability, and continuous improvementPlease Keep in MindIf you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
