Employment type Permanent Professional category Administrative staff Part time / Full time Full-time Job description This position is responsible for working in the Logistics Department and will be responsible for receiving, stocking, issuing, packaging, and shipping parts in a timely manner. Works in a team environment participating in continuous improvement activities. Summary of Duties:
• Works in receiving and performs necessary tasks to receive parts in a timely manner
• Stocks parts in the appropriate locations after applying identification labels and fills back-orders
• Kits parts from stockroom locations for variety of orders.
• Performs part receipt and issue transactions in Business System (M3)
• Performs all Logistics related transactions in M3 for parts issues, credits, and scrap.
• Accurately counts parts if assigned to the cycle count team
• Deliver parts to specified locations within the company premises
• Packages parts for shipping process and perform shipping transactions
• Performs other duties as assigned Requires little to no experience in discipline
• Conducts routine tasks as directed But what else? (advantages, specificities, etc.) Team oriented. Ability to work independently and with others. Candidate skills & requirements
• Basic knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
• Forklift and pallet jacks experience move parts in shipping.
• Ability to operate PC with knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar software packages
• Prior Experience creating excel spread sheets and entering data
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and take the initiative
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must possess basic Math skills and be able to comprehend varying units of measure
• Must know how to use Weight scales.
• Ability to utilize barcode scanning equipment
• Basic understanding of logistics process and Bill of ladings.
