Key Qualifications:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician
• Experience working in schools, preferably across diverse educational settings
• Comprehensive knowledge of special education evaluation processes and compliance
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a variable caseload efficiently and adapt to multiple school environments
• Collaborative approach to working with teachers, specialists, students, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and timely educational assessments in alignment with district, state, and federal guidelines
• Develop detailed documentation and evaluation reports for students referred for special education services
• Partner with multidisciplinary teams to interpret assessment results and recommend appropriate interventions
• Communicate findings to teachers, parents, and administrators in a clear, supportive manner
• Travel throughout Porter County as assigned, based at the SELF school, to ensure comprehensive coverage of student needs
• Maintain meticulous records and uphold confidentiality standards
