Overview
Registered Nurse, PACU — Lapeer, Michigan. Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. Start date: 08/24/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,831–$1,878 per week. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed. Shift: 3x12-hour day shifts. This assignment requires active Michigan RN licensure and PACU experience.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive post-anesthesia care in the PACU, including patient assessment, airway management, vital signs monitoring, and recovery progression.
- Manage pain control, hemodynamic stability, and early identification of potential complications following anesthesia.
- Collaborate with anesthesia and surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes and readiness for discharge or transfer.
- Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record accurately and in real time.
- Maintain patient safety, infection control practices, and efficient PACU turnover while adhering to hospital protocols.
- Respond to changes in patient condition with escalation per policy and participate in perioperative patient flow as needed.

Requirements
- Current Michigan RN license
- 2+ years PACU experience
- BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA) certifications
- Ability to work in a PACU within a hospital setting
- On-call availability: 4–6 12-hour calls per 28-day schedule, including weekends (call-only on weekends)
