Registered Nurse - PACU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. Ensure patient safety, monitor vital signs, and facilitate a smooth transition to recovery or next level of care.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' condition and monitor vital signs regularly during recovery.
• Administer medications and interventions per physician orders.
• Respond promptly to any patient complications or emergencies.
• Document patient care activities and clinical observations accurately.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid state RN license with current, unrestricted credentials.
• Possess at least 2 years of recent PACU experience.
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the AHA.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Show excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
