ERP Project Manager

Role Description

LTD Scale is seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to lead a major enterprise digital transformation and ERP implementation initiative for a growing global organization. This is a senior-level project management role requiring hands-on experience leading large-scale ERP implementations, migrations, and enterprise application transformation projects. The ideal candidate brings strong technical and functional knowledge of leading ERP platforms, particularly Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics, combined with the leadership skills necessary to coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, executives, and other key stakeholders.

You will work closely with senior technology leadership to drive the implementation from planning through execution, testing, and delivery while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of a large-scale ERP implementation, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to established quality standards.
• Manage day-to-day project operations while maintaining a detailed understanding of key activities, dependencies, issues, and risks.
• Monitor and report overall program status, including project financials, milestones, deliverables, risks, and resource requirements.
• Organize project teams and allocate resources based on workstream phases, priorities, and project activities.
• Coordinate and approve project-wide communications for internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor ERP design and configuration decisions and escalate issues involving platform functionality, scope, timeline, or budget when necessary.
• Identify and escalate major unresolved issues that could materially impact solution quality, project scope, delivery timelines, budget, or resources.
• Collaborate with vendor Functional Leads to validate business scenarios and ensure they support future-state business processes.
• Review and approve key project documentation, including:
  • Requirements Analyses
  • Design Documents
  • Map & Gap Analyses
  • Testing Documents
• Work with Functional Leads to validate business test cases and ensure System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) adequately cover future-state business processes.
• Help resolve issues and mitigate risks related to Functional Track milestones, deliverables, and tasks.
• Maintain strong coordination among project leadership, functional teams, vendors, and key stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing project portfolios and complex initiatives within a large organization, including responsibility across people, processes, tools, and technology.
• Demonstrated experience leading the deployment, implementation, and/or migration of ERP platforms.
• Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale ERP and enterprise application transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong project and program management capabilities.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to guide, motivate, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify, communicate, and proactively manage project risks and dependencies.
• Must be able to work and collaborate during U.S. Eastern Time (ET) business hours.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP implementations.
• Experience working directly with ERP implementation vendors and Functional Leads.
• Strong understanding of ERP requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Experience managing SIT and UAT activities.
• Experience working with Steering Committees, executive leadership, and senior technology stakeholders.
• Experience supporting enterprise transformation initiatives across multiple locations or business units.
