Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for an on-site role in Fremont, CA. Join Our Client, an industry leader driving cutting-edge design solutions. Requires a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 6-8+ years of experience: vacuum system design and RF high voltage, understanding of heat transfer and conducting RCCA, FMEA, and technical brainstorming sessions! 3D CAD proficiency . 2 year contract!!

responsibilities:

• Lead the full product life cycle of advanced mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, from initial concept design through to testing and validation.

• Design components utilizing a wide range of specialized materials, including metals, ceramics, and advanced engineered coatings.

• Perform detailed engineering analyses -such as structural, thermal, stress, and fluid/gas dynamics-to properly specify and validate design performance.

• Create critical technical deliverables , including risk analyses (FMEA), test specifications, design documentation, and design review presentations.

• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure engineering solutions are high-quality, cost-optimized, and meet all requirements.
