About the Role
The Company is seeking a President to lead its institution with a strong focus on student success, economic and social mobility, and the advancement of the community. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader, inspiring and unifying efforts to promote the value of higher education and the mission of community colleges. Essential functions of the role include institutional stewardship, fiscal and operational oversight, external relations and advocacy, academic leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement. The President will be responsible for maintaining the College's mission, vision, and values, and ensuring its compliance with accreditation standards. They will also be expected to foster a student-centered culture, leverage technology for operational efficiency, and build strategic partnerships to enhance the College's regional impact. Applicants for the President position at the company should have a proven track record of successful leadership, be adept at working within shared governance structures, and have a strong background in financial management. The role requires a leader who is approachable, ethical, and culturally competent, with a transparent and inclusive leadership style. The President will be expected to engage with a wide range of internal and external constituents, including the Board of Trustees, faculty, staff, students, and community partners. A deep commitment to the value of higher education, particularly in the context of community colleges, is essential. The ideal candidate will be visionary, adaptable, and able to lead and manage change effectively, particularly in the areas of technology and innovation.
