Registered Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant

Image Orthodontics in South San Francisco is in search of an experienced Registered Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant to join our team. The  Registered Dental Assistant/Dental Assistant  plays a key role in creating a welcoming environment for our patients. The ideal candidate will be friendly, highly organized, and able to maintain positivity and composure in a fast-paced office setting.

Schedule

• This position is Full-Time
• Alternative Work Schedule (4/10)

Responsibilities:

• Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures and adjustments
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to OSHA and infection control standards
• Take digital X-rays, photographs, and impressions/scans as needed
• Place and remove orthodontic appliances under doctor supervision
• Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and appliance care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting
• Ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit
• Support front and back office teamwork as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required
• Pediatric and Orthodontic experience preferred
• CPR certification required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude with strong attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
