Staff Accountant

Job Description Job Description Our client, a national industry leader headquartered in Kansas City, is searching for a Staff Accountant to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for a Degreed Accountant with a couple years of experience who is looking for a bit more challenge from their current role.

Responsibilities:
Perform various account reconciliations
Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger
Assist in the month-end close process
Work on special projects
Interact with CFO, Controller, and other Accounting Staff on a daily basis
Other accounting related duties as needed

Job Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting
2+ years of professional work experience
Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel
Strong work ethic, and emphasis on attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
