Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Ames, IA Position Summary Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our warm rotisserie chicken. They wrap, label and store merchandise, assist members with bakery orders, and maintain cleanliness, order and temperature control in the prepared foods area. The role requires the ability to juggle several tasks quickly while delivering high‑quality service with a friendly, customer‑focused attitude. Key Responsibilities Be a Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, share tools and resources, communicate effectively, and be flexible to work in other areas as needed. Be an Expert : Prepare food according to item specifications, plan and execute future productions, manage seasonality, adhere to food safety standards, maintain and sanitize equipment, and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution. Be a Techie : Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enable associate engagement; use handheld technology for production, training, and product quality decisions. Be an Owner : Drive area performance, use digital tools, manage high exposure and expectations, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, and guide peers while attending to customer needs. Be a Talent Ambassador : Advocate for the department and club, model high quality service, execute basics at the highest level, and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity, utilizing the Open Door Policy in business processes and practices. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, and partners; manage priorities, deadlines, and expectations; and communicate progress to recommend improvement opportunities.
