Preventive Maintenance Tech

Compensation: $18-$25 per hour

Location: Houma, LA

Schedule: 40+ Hours Weekly | Monday-Friday | Overtime Available

Required Qualifications

Minimum one year of HVAC maintenance experience is preferred
EPA Universal is required
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
Strong understanding of HVAC system operation and preventive maintenance
Ability to identify basic mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration-related issues
Professional communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in attics and confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift 50+ lbs.

What You'll Be Doing

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance mostly on residential HVAC systems
Complete seasonal inspections, tune-ups, and equipment checks
Identify potential issues before they become major repairs
Inspect controls, electrical components, refrigerant-related systems, and overall equipment performance
Maintain safe, clean, and high-quality work practices
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
Document maintenance findings and recommendations using a company-provided tablet
