Supervisor carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Provide cashier services, including cashing checks, preparing fills and jackpots, checking banks out and back in, adding money to the safe, preparing deposits, counting and bundling cash, and balancing the bank.We will never communicate with you via text message to discuss or schedule job interviews. We will never ask you for any personal information over the phone, via email or via text.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAcknowledge and greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.Assist customers in any grievance or complaint.Sell chips to Runners and Dealers.Cash out customers.Issue Dealer banks.Maintain a "bank" when necessaryIssue Restaurant and Deli/Snack Bar Cashier's banks.Complete customer Cash advancesAssist customers in transactions of their "player banks".Accept authorized markers and sell chip to players accordingly.Be aware of any counterfeit currency and report to the manager immediately.Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.Coach and Counsel employeesHave input regarding staff annual performance reviews.Properly and Fairly assign stations for cashiersComplete required daily reportsEnsure count team is properly staffedAbide by Human Resources and Company policies and procedures.Perform all other work-related duties as assigned by Management.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.Qualification RequirementsAbility to obtain and maintain a Gardena Police Department Work PermitMinimum of 1-3 years of supervisory experience and/or training in direct supervision of fifteen or more employees, cash control and protection of assets; or equivalent combination of education and experienceEducation/Formal TrainingA High School diploma or a General Education DegreeReasoning AbilityStrong guest service skills and the ability to ask questions and apply deductive reasoning and listening skills are essentialLanguage SkillsAbility to read, write, and speak in EnglishMust be able to effectively communicate with customers and managementAble to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests and EmployeesStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationshipsCertificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust be able to obtain and maintain a State of California Key Employee License.Physical DemandsMust be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situationsMust be able to stand, bend, reach, crouch, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned areaMust be able to lift up to 20 pounds and/or able to push/pull up to 50 poundsMust be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractionsMust be able to Stand and or Sit for long periods of timeWork EnvironmentAdult content environmentMust be at least 21 years of age24-hour operation with a very fast paced environmentMust be able to concentrate in an intense, fast-paced environment with numerous distractionsNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
