Travel Physical Therapist in Gadsden, AZ

Schedule:

• Choice of 5x8's or 4x10's (Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat)
• Flexible weekend coverage 2-3 days per month
• Rotating holidays

Qualifications:

• Graduation from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program or equivalent
• Active AZ Physical Therapy license or AZ PT Compact eligibility
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Experience with acute inpatient clinicals (recent preferred if a new grad)
• At least one year of professional PT experience (post-clinicals)
• Solid understanding of pathology, lab values, and interdisciplinary communication

Key Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive evaluation and individualized treatment planning
• Delivery of skilled physical therapy interventions for acute care patients (ortho, CVA, CHF, COPD, sepsis)
• Effective patient, caregiver, and interdisciplinary communication to support care transitions
• Clear and timely documentation that adheres to department and regulatory standards
• Supervision and delegation to PTAs and other therapy support staff
• Participation in departmental meetings, process improvement, and continual learning
