Occupational Therapist School Setting - Somerton, AZ

Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support high school students near Somerton, AZ for the 2026-2027 school year. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Arizona (or eligibility)
• Experience within a school setting, particularly with high school students, strongly preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
• Familiarity with IEP processes, documentation, and goal-setting
• Ability to assess students' needs and adapt interventions accordingly

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group therapy to high school students on a caseload of approximately 65
• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and strengths
• Develop and implement treatment plans in alignment with students' IEPs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Adapt and modify classroom materials and environments to support student access and participation
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services delivered
• Opportunity to contribute to Extended School Year (ESY) services if desired
