Material Coordinator

Job Title: Material Coordinator Education: High School Location: Panama City - Panama City, FL US (Primary) Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Category: Technicians Salary Grade: Job Type: Full-time Travel: No Travel Job Description Coordinates and expedites flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with existing schedules or department supervisor’s priorities. Reviews schedules and confers with department supervisors to determine material required or overdue and to locate material. Requisitions material and establishes delivery sequences according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material. Arranges for in-plant transfer of materials to meet schedules. Arranges with department supervisors for repair and assembly of material and its transportation. Examines material delivered to production departments to verify if type specified. Number of Hires Needed: 1 Hiring Manager Chapman, Krista (Management Analyst II - Maintenance Support Group (1.01)) Job Requirements Ability to test completed cables is required. Ability to deliver cables that are Solder certification to IPC J-STD-001 (Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies), as required. Calibration Custodian Support Metrology Engineering Support Passive Counter Measures (PCMS) Installation and Repair Special skills: PMCS certification to NAVSEA RIM 05T1-99 (PCMS Repair and Installation Methods) Shipping and Receiving Dock Management Special skill set forklift and crane certification Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT) Coordinator #J-18808-Ljbffr Applied Technical Systems
