Paralegal / Client Administrator

Seeking a Paralegal or Legal assistant to interact with new and existing clients face to face and over the telephone while providing professional administrative support services. We are seeking a Paralegal / Client Administrator to provide legal and administrative support while building and maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves direct client communication, case file management, legal document preparation, attorney support, and coordination of day-to-day claim activities. The position is full-time and in person in Springfield, MA.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of assigned claims and address client questions and administrative issues promptly.
• Communicate professionally with new and existing clients by phone and in person.
• Draft routine pleadings, motions, affidavits, and interrogatories.
• File motions and pleadings in accordance with applicable court procedures.
• Prepare, organize, maintain, and retrieve case files, including evidence, exhibits, depositions, pleadings, and related documents.
• Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation, including attending proceedings as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support overall client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with attorneys, administrators, and managers to meet time-management and operational goals.
• Participate in team initiatives and help resolve departmental challenges.
• Manage projects through timely implementation and completion.
• Maintain professional internal and external communications.
• Stay informed about relevant industry trends, issues, and policies and apply that knowledge to the role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of legal experience required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience facilitating client meetings by telephone or in person.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strategic and critical-thinking abilities.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to work in person in Springfield, MA
