Assistance Maintenance ManagerWe are looking for an Assistance Maintenance Manager to join our team in Martinsburg, WV. As an Assistance Maintenance Manager for Quikrete Construction Materials plays a vital role within the company and will contribute to the overall success and improved operations within Continental Cement. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and technical aptitude, analyzing trends and monitoring equipment conditions to ascertain the appropriate maintenance interventions, both preventative and reactive. Supporting the reliability of mechanical, electrical, and mobile equipment, this role will increase reliability, performance, and life expectancy, at the lowest overall cost, while working to support and maintain production functions. This is accomplished using inspection, planning, and scheduling practices while taking into consideration the production requirements of the plant.Why apply?Competitive wages.Company provided benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Company paid life and disability benefits, paid vacation, and 401K.About the RoleResponsibilities:Manage the methods team, define the mission and objectives, carry out their performance reviews, intervene on issues that may impede progress.Maintain compliance with safety standards and protocols by both employees and contractors.Oversee development and maintenance of a strategy for effective utilization of the Computerized Maintenance System (SAP).Manage maintenance of the preventive maintenance program and its master plan to ensuring quality and relevance as well as structured implementation of the program.Oversee preparation of daily added value execution "job plans" to boost the effectiveness of execution crews.Lead optimization of maintenance operations according to the availability of equipment and workforce.Manage identification and communication required quality specifications for spares, rebuilds, and contracted work.Ensure that maintenance practices, as documented on Job Plans, comply with quality assurance standards.Lead monthly analysis of maintenance key performance indicators.Responsible for assessment of recurring problems related to equipment reliability and safety and work conditions and development of effective solutions.Responsible for technical decisions regarding plant equipment.Monitor equipment condition by performing both a formal schedule of systematic inspections of plant equipment and non-systematic inspections as required by equipment stoppages, daily incidents, and pending turnarounds.Perform follow-up inspections to verify tolerances in critical issues to assure compliance to acceptance standards and PM Guidelines.Responsible for the formal schedule of PM activities for development, review, and modification.About YouWe Require:Required Minimum Position Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (any) or a closely related field of study, AND Eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.Working in Cement Manufacturing.Fundamentals of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).Working in heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing field.AutoCAD or similar software.CMMS or SAPAbout UsEach day brings new challenges, and we make sure you are prepared for it all.
