Department/Unit Summary: We care for adult patients 18 and older who are being treated for a variety of medical diagnoses. These diagnoses cover a wide range of disease processes including pulmonary, renal, hepatology, endocrine, and post-procedural patients. Some of our patient population requires knowledge of home vents, wound care, as well as care of patients on some continuous medication drips, including insulin. Shift: * Full-Time Night Shift - 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (three 12-hour shifts/week) * Shifts do rotate throughout the week * Note: Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs. * All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment. Care Partner Position Qualifications: Required: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following: * Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), or * Graduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), or * Minimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.
