Lifecycle Marketing Manager

We're looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to design and optimize the programs that engage, retain, and grow our members across their entire journey with Atlas, from top of funnel through activation and long-term retention, with a clear focus on driving engagement, retention, and user lifetime value (LTV).

We want a marketer with experience building targeted campaigns across all channels we own (email, SMS, in-app messages, push) and connecting those touchpoints to the broader, lifecycle goals that shape how members experience Atlas. You'll turn performance data into segmentation, automation, and personalization strategies that move the business, and you'll use AI tools to drive efficiency and output.

This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco. Team members are expected to come into the office two days a week.

What You'll Do

• Own post-activation lifecycle strategy: from onboarding to long-term retention, building targeted campaigns that drive engagement, retention, and member LTV.
• Turn segments into personalized campaigns: define the segments that matter and translate them into targeted, personalized campaigns across multiple channels.
• Continuous experimentation: data-driven hypotheses and run experiments to continuously optimize lifecycle campaigns and transactional communications
• Steward our communications ecosystem: develop and own channel guidelines and governance, preserving the quality and integrity of every message we send members.
• Leverage AI to compress the work: use AI tools to automate analyses, accelerate research, and remove busywork so the team ships faster.
• Partner cross-functionally: build strong relationships across Engineering and Operations to deliver on shared strategies for large, cross-functional initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• 4-6+ years of experience in lifecycle, growth, or related marketing
• A proven track record of running successful campaigns against targeted segments across multiple channels (email, SMS, in app messages, push)
• Strong analytical skills; comfort with pulling data, performing analyses, and reporting on performance to drive key business decisions and outcomes across the user lifecycle
• The ability to work cross-functionally and exercise significant independent judgment.
• Crisp written communication; high agency; low ego; bias to action, customer obsession.

What Sets You Apart

• Fintech experience - bonus points if you've worked on credit, lending, or other consumer financial products.
• Hands-on experience with key marketing platforms (Braze or similar).
• Comfortable leveraging AI tools as a daily multiplier - for analysis, automation, research, and writing.
• A strong self-starter mindset – adaptable and able to think critically to develop creative solutions with limited resources.
• Strategic thinking; you naturally ask "why" and "what if," not just "what happened."
