Data Entry and Program Support Assistant

Position Summary:
Assistant provides administrative and front desk support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role includes basic data entry, assisting with program activities, preparing classrooms or meeting spaces, and performing general receptionist duties. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable with basic technology.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain records in databases or spreadsheets
• Use basic technology tools such as email, word processing, and spreadsheets
• Assist staff with program activities and events, including preparation and cleanup
• Help with classroom or meeting room setup, including arranging tables, chairs, and materials
• Provide front desk/reception support, including greeting visitors and answering phones
• Direct guests, participants, or clients to the appropriate staff or location
• Maintain organized files and program materials
• Support administrative staff with general office tasks as needed
• Ensure common areas and program spaces remain tidy and organized

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Basic computer skills (email, Microsoft Word, spreadsheets, or similar tools)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Friendly and professional communication skills
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions
• Ability to lift or move light materials for class setup (if needed)

• Previous office, receptionist, or customer service experience
• Experience assisting with programs, workshops, or events
• Office and program/classroom setting
• Interaction with staff, program participants, and visitors
